Cynthia T. Davis, was born and raised in the District of Columbia, also known as the Nation’s Capital. As a Native Washingtonian her love for helping her family and community is the driving factor to her success as a Real Estate Agent in and for the State Maryland and the District of Columbia with over 10 years of experience.
She started her career in Real Estate after 27 years of government service in the area of administration and a few private industry positions because of her love for working with people. Prior to starting her real estate career, she used to go to Open Houses and Model Homes to view properties with others to admire the newest trends in decorating and housing layouts to dream of her own future home.
Cynthia has a passion for volunteering to help others. The Prince George’s County Family Justice Center for Domestic Violence and the River Jordan Project local Food Pantry are among some of the places she has given her time and attention to assist with the needs of her community. Her love for law and service also gave her the desire to return to school to earn her Paralegal Certificate and as a result added to her interest in volunteering with the Prince George’s County Police Department when called upon. She has co-authored two books, The Head Lady’s in Charge and the Joy 365 Daily Devotional book with 364 other authors.
Whether working on the Buyers or Sellers side of the transaction, Cynthia works hard for each and every client. Due to her ability to understand Real Estate Contracts and Legal Writing, she is the go-to person to have issues resolved among her family, friends and acquaintances. She also holds a license as a Title Insurance Producer Independent Contractor (TIPIC) and Notary Public for the State of Maryland to conduct Loan Signings for Settlement Companies and Lenders closings for members of general public, so she understands the Closing Documents that Buyer’s and Seller’s will have to sign at the Settlement Table.
Cynthia is a great communicator and goes above and beyond while being attentive to her clients, and even after the transaction has closed, she will still work to help you find information for contractors or anything else she can assist you with regarding your home and family. She embraces technology to ensure that she is efficient with meeting deadlines to get Buyers and Sellers to the closing table. While her professional nature is to be serious, she is very personable and loves to brighten the day to lighten the experience for everyone that she has the pleasure of assisting. In the last 10 years she has purchased her own home while Listing, selling and leasing homes for her clients in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
