Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor, Hayley Sterling worked in television news in the metro Washington, DC market for 23 years as well as one year at WRIC-TV the ABC affiliate in Richmond, VA as an on-air  general assignment and Health Reporter.  Metro DC news bureaus and shows include First Business, Nation’s Business Today, WTTG, WJLA, WUSA, CNN, CNBC, NIGHTLY BUSINESS REPORT/ PBS/ McNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, FOX Health Network, WorldNet, Voice of America NewsChannel8 and many others as business, features, health and medical reporter, field producer, copy editor, executive producer, vice president of broadcast operations, news writer and newsroom manager.    In addition to television news Ms. Sterling also oversaw the creation and launch of two major integrated national journalism programs as Program Director at Radio, Television, News Directors Assn. RTNDA News in the Next Century and Community Journalism funded by the Pew Center and Knight Ridder Respectively.
