John Burgess was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, in Montgomery County. Since the third grade, he has been involved with serving and helping others through a variety of customer service-based businesses, such as paper routes, landscaping, owning and operating a local neighborhood pub, and now as a REALTOR®. As both an individual agent and as a Broker for 17 years with over 25+ agents, John relishes the opportunity to assist people with one of the most important decisions and largest transaction of their lives – the buying and selling of real estate. John’s personal life has always been intertwined with sports and athletics, and he is very interested in the physical health of himself and others. He enjoys team activities, coaching sports and most importantly, spending quality time with his family. He is involved with the Marty Lyons Foundation, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and So Others Might Eat and organizes his team’s signature fundraising events for these charities annually. In his spare time, John likes to travel and cook out on the grill. John’s experience includes: a BS Degree Business Management – University of Maryland, Minor Physical Education, 28+ years of Real Estate experience and 8 years owning and operating E.M. Magoo’s Irish American Pub.
