Andrea “Chris” Banks is a native Washingtonian 🇺🇸 currently residing in Huntingtown, Maryland. After graduating high school, Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emmanuel College in Boston 🎓 and a Master of Education from Antioch University. Throughout her career in education 🍎, Chris dedicated herself to enhancing the learning experience for students and staff alike, writing grants, developing curriculum, and presenting impactful workshops. Her commitment and creativity led her students to participate in — and benefit from — numerous enrichment opportunities through contests and special programs.

Chris taught in Boston, MA, and St. Mary’s County, MD, ultimately concluding her educational career as vice principal at Beach Elementary in Calvert County Public Schools. Her contributions have been recognized with several awards 🏆, including St. Mary’s Teacher of the Year and, more recently, the Harriet Elizabeth Brown Educational Excellence Award from the Concerned Black Women of Calvert County.

Transitioning from education to real estate 🏠, Chris has brought her passion for teaching into her role as a REALTOR® with Samson Properties. She specializes in working with first-time home buyers and sellers across Southern Maryland, empowering clients through education and guidance every step of the way.
