Northern Virginia – Virginia is a great place to live and work, which is why Cherlyn Jenkins chose to call it home. With roots in Salt Lake City, Utah, Cherlyn came to Northern Virginia in 2005. After a 20-year-career as a special educator and 7 years as the founder of a small children’s outerwear business, Cherlyn has decided to return to her roots in real estate. A daughter of an agent/broker turned land developer/general contractor, she has spent her entire life in real estate offices, homes, and surrounded by realtors. One of her first jobs was to clean homes before the new owners took ownership. Becoming an agent has been like coming home.
Cherlyn is commited to discovering each clients needs and wants and works tirelessly to meet as many of those as possible. Whether buying, selling, or leasing property, her listening skills and empathy help her clients through some of life’s biggest investments. She knows her craft and prides herself in being a professional problem solver. Her expertise and ability to mitigate the potential stress of transactions allows her to serve as a buffer for her clients. Cherlyn remains committed to her clients after the transaction is complete by making sure they are up to date on their home and investments.
Cherlyn has loved her 17 years in Northern Virginia. When she is not helping people buy, sell, or lease homes she can be found hanging out with family and supporting her kids at soccer games, swim meets, and flag football. Alongside her husband, they have been long-time volunteers at Ford’s Theatre. She also enjoys serving on the board of the community pool. And looks forward to working with you on your next project.
