I knew Old Town before it became a national treasure; was born in the Alexandria Hospital on Duke Street where I also had my first job years later; I remember the talk when I was little about the new highway (the Capital Beltway) which was going to ease congestion (lol) and I remember when the Workhouse Arts Center was Lorton Penitentiary.
