After teaching Spanish and Italian in MCPS, I transitioned to a career in  real estate.  Having taught in schools from Damascus to Chevy Chase to Gaithersburg and Silver Spring, I know the county and its neighborhoods inside out. Prior to moving overseas, I lived near the National Zoo in Washington, DC and worked at Connecticut and K Streets.  I enjoy working with first time buyers, sellers who are downsizing and everything in between.  Every transaction is an opportunity to learn something new and valuable for the next one.  My 25+ years of experience have served me well.  I lived in Rockville in the same townhouse for over 20 years–what a shock it was to me when I moved!  Finally, I discovered it’s not that easy and could empathize with both buyers and sellers as I dealt first hand with problems I had only heard about from my clients: how to get rid of unwanted furniture fast, what to watch out for when hiring movers, controlling emotions! I experienced living in an enormous hi-rise building with complex concerns and am now in a small condo community where it feels like I live in a single family home with a garage. Different living styles which help me understand my clients’ challenges as well as their joys. I personalize my services to the individuals I serve.
