Hello I’m Derrick J Johnson also go by DJ.  I’m new to real estate however I been in sales and customers service about all my adult life.  Growing up I was an athlete from soccer, football, basketball and track and field.  In high school I started to focus on two sports which was football and track.  In Track and Field I was the team captain and a two time 100 meter state champ and state recorder holder.  In college I was the team captain for track and field which I was an All-American and I ran on a USA Team and was one of the fastest people in the world top 30.  One of the reason that I’m talking about my sport career is that I’m a leader I’m great with people as a team and as a competitor.  Being new to real estate just like in sports you have to learn and be coachable which I’m great with that.

As an adult I have done about 20 years of network marketing on and off, I worked at a bank for a few years and recently was in the travel industry.  I’m looking to network with my colleagues here at Samson Properties and learn from you all.  My goals is to deal with first time home buyer’s who thought they would never be in their own home to yacht owners and business owners that travel world wide.  I’m a world traveler and looking to network with people around the world because a lot of people would love to buy a home in our area.

Thank you for reading all of this and I will update this bio when I get more experience in real estate.  Just like you, this is my day one, first year in real estate and I looking for you to give me a helping hand, not a hand out just a little more consideration and patients.  You was here before and one day I will be able to help someone who is new.  With that being said the best feeling is helping someone that need it. Which is one of the reason that I wanted to do real estate.  I been doing sale jobs and helping and solving problems is something that I’m good at.  I feel like the best feeling would be handing someone their keys to their new home.  To me that is powerful plus the commission is higher than most sales jobs too so it’s a win win in my books.  With that being said I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.
