Donny is a lifetime resident of Northern Virginia. Donny graduated from Oakton High School in Vienna. Donny went on to graduate from George Mason University. Donny married his wife Meredith in December 2004, they are residents of Chantilly, Virginia. In 2006, they had their first child, a daughter, Ava Grace. In 2008, they welcomed their second daughter, Sophie Caroline. 2010 brought them Lily Paige and 2013 brought them Molly Kate and they couldn’t be happier! They are all a true blessing, and Donny & Meredith are enjoying parenthood immensely. In his spare time, Donny plays on an adult softball team, plays pick up basketball and is a regular at boot camp.  He also loves being a Washington sports fan. Go Nats, Washington Football Team, Capitals, and Wizards!

Donny’s father, Danny Samson, is the owner of Samson Properties. Growing up in the real estate business, Donny knew it was an area he was both interested in and had natural talent and drive for success. Donny started selling in August, 2003.  In March 2007 through hard work and studying Donny received his Broker’s license.

Donny sold actively for 13 years before taking over the role of COO of Samson Properties in 2016.  In  2019 he took over the role of CEO.  It’s been a great challenge but one that he is loving.
