After relocating to Northern Virginia from New England in 1991, we raised a family of four young children who are now grown adults (how time flies!). I have also been blessed with 13 beautiful grandchildren. After retiring from my first career with the federal government in Washington DC, I chose real estate as my ‘encore career’ in 2007.

Our entire Mid-Atlantic area offers many similar geographic characteristics that my family and I are familiar with that also exists in New England. From the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounding the Shenandoah Valley to the hustle and bustle of Tysons Corner, Arlington, Alexandria, from the beautiful Capital City of Washington DC to the Capital City of Annapolis MD and all the way to the Eastern Shore. This area has so much to offer for those looking to move and live in this area.

Since living in Northern Virginia, I have acquired detailed knowledge of each county from Frederick County VA to Arlington County VA and everywhere in between and beyond, bringing tremendous insight into the vast neighborhoods within the entire Northern Virginia region. As a proud parent of five children who have graduated from our local schools and colleges, I realize what it means to find that perfect home and neighborhood to raise a family in. I went through the same process in 1991 when my family relocated here.
