Laurel Chinn began her real estate career in San Diego, California after graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She sold homes in the San Diego area, while living in her home town of Coronado, California. Moving here in 1997, Laurel raised two children with her husband, Richard, and began selling again in 2013, once the kiddos had launched.

Laurel works extensively with estates, helping her clients update, stage and sell their family homes. She has an efficient system that helps families through difficult times and from distant locations. So often the family has left the area, and they are reliant on me to help them manage all of the details of clearing, updating and marketing the home.

Laurel works with Buyers and Sellers and says that her favorite part of the job is the closing day smile. She maintains contact with past clients and just realized that she has helped one client on four separate transaction. Clients want to move up in size or closer to a new job, it’s a part of the job to be there for each evolution of home ownership.

Laurel lives in Fairfax and enjoys time visiting her far flung children, swimming, spending time with the love of her life, Richard, and their sweet Austrailian Terrier, Noel. Long drives in the Virginia countryside make the day on a day off, with fruit picking, dining excursions and wine tasting a part of the journey on most evolutions.
