Before becoming a Realtor, Vicki King was the director of kitchen design for 84 Lumber, a large construction supply company in the Northeast. Moving from there into real estate was a natural transition. Vicki’s worked hard to educate herself for that responsibility. She graduated first in her class with a degree in applied sciences, and was president of her honor society. As a Realtor, she’s both an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and a Selle Representative Specialist, coveted credentials allowing her to serve clients on either side of the transaction. She’s been a member of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association LTD for several years now. Finally, she’s also a Military Relocation Professional, a certification she proudly utilizes in a personal mission to better serve her country’s veterans.
She’s adamant about being there every step of the way for her clients. People clearly appreciate her efforts. After six years in her Maryland business, most of her clients are now repeats and referrals. She markets her listings using all of the social media platforms, as well as applications like Homesnap and the usual sites like Realtor.com. She does open houses, of course. She’s also certified as a home-staging specialist (RESA), and so has a great eye for how to emphasize a property’s best features. Vicki’s active in her community, her main contribution coming through her work with the Wounded Warrior Project.
Vicki has amassed numerous sales awards throughout her career, and has been a member. But most gratifying might be her 2021 inclusion in Baltimore Real Producers, acknowledging her as one of the top five hundred producing agents in Central Maryland, out of twelve thousand agents. That places her in the top four percent regionally, an achievement that some agents never reach during their career.
