Thomas M. Corcoran is a fourth generation native Washingtonian and Associate Broker, actively engaged full-time in real estate sales for over 30 years in the Washington Metropolitan area. Tom is a graduate of The American University with a bachelor’s degree in real estate and is licensed in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Tom is also a Graduate of The Real Estate Institute (GRI) and holds the designations of a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and an Accredited Buyers Agent. These designations involve having completed advanced and intensive study in all facets of real estate. The CRS designation is a nationally recognized symbol of residential sales excellence.
As an experienced Listing Agent, Tom has a longtime proven track record for obtaining the maximum sales price for sellers while minimizing the time their property is on the market. For example, Tom has sold 97% of his listings since 1988 and most of his listings sell for Full Price – – and not less than 1-2% of the list price. Tom specializes in selling properties in Montgomery County Maryland, Virginia and all of Washington, DC.
Tom was born and raised in Washington, DC. As a fourth generation native Washingtonian, Tom’s longtime contacts, strong knowledge of the geography of the Washington DC metropolitan region as well as his expertise in the local real estate market have all proven invaluable to Tom’s clients. Tom Corcoran has been residing in Bethesda for over 27 years. Tom and his wife Michelle enjoy skiing, golfing and going to the Outer Banks with their son Matthew. Tom also is an avid runner and swimmer. He is an active member of his community and enjoys coaching his son’s sports and volunteering at Shepherd’s Table.
