Samson Cares Partners with Generosity Feeds to Fight Food Insecurity in Fairfax
Chantilly, VA – Samson Cares, the philanthropic initiative of Samson Properties, and Generosity Feeds are partnering once again for their annual meal creation event to fight food uncertainty in the community. The team’s campaign kicked off this week with a goal of packing 15,000 meals.
On Saturday, July 23, 2022, Samson Properties’ agents, staff, and their families will come together at Chantilly High School to pack 15,000 meals of fiesta black beans and rice. The meals created will be made available to local children in need throughout the DMV. For the next five weeks leading up to this date, Samson Cares will be fundraising to reach their goal of $15,000.
“We are thrilled to partner with Generosity Feeds again. Samson Properties feels so blessed by the community around us that has helped make us successful. Being able to feed thousands of families is just one small way that we can give back and help the community. We do this so the children and their families will not have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Our company was built on the idea of “paying it forward”— to give with no expectations in return. Through Samson Cares, we are committed to making the world a better place each and every day,” says Samson Properties’ CEO, Donny Samson.
“Since 2018, Samson Cares has helped create over 40,000 meals for local children in the DMV. What I love about Samson Properties is that everyone is committed to the company’s value system of doing good while doing business,” says Generosity Feeds Founder and CEO, Ron Klabunde. “Over the years, Generosity Feeds has been able to empower over 76,000 volunteers and feed over 168,000 children who live with food insecurity.”
