Hello All. I have been with Samson Properties since getting my real estate license in 2003.
Prior to joining Samson Properties I served 23 years in the United States Coast Guard and retired as a Lieutenant. My career in the Coast Guard was two adventures. I enlisted right out of High School and went to school to be a aircraft turbine engine mechanic. Then, after 10 years I was accepted to Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an Ensign in 1992. I had been assigned in many locations throughout the Gulf Coast and Hawaii. One of my most memorable assignments was as the Aide to the 14th District Admiral. It was a great growth experience and lots of travel throughout the Pacific Rim traveling to Japan, Hong Kong, & Singapore just to mention a few.
In my 20+ years at Samson Properties, I have been involved in Sales, Rentals, and Property Management in Virginia. I earned my Broker License in 2011 and have assist with agent support in Virginia as an Associate Broker for Samson Properties since 2014. I was a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtor (NVAR) Grievance Committee in 2018, 2019, & 2022 and then the NVAR Professional Standard Committee for 2023 and recently I was extended through 2024.
I have enjoyed my time at Samson and have learned a great deal about real estate here. When I started, there were like 10 agents and it was always a family operation. Even though the company has grown considerably since then, Samson has always been a family first kind of place with a focus on agent development and support.
