Originally from Florida, Joy stretched her wings and branched out traveling and living abroad where she initiated her experience in the international financials and trade. Upon return to the United States, Joy kicked off her ventures in real estate with property investments and sales. After the turn of the market crash of 2008 Joy refocused her energy sticking with her passion and began to build the foundation of her elite brand, which now stands strong today as TJOR & Associates better known as “The Joy of Realty”.
Veteran related, Joy has been able to share her expertise with all, yet specialize in detailed support of military families. As strong bonds were formed one family after another, the word spread of the “hidden gem” that everyone had to meet. Doing what she loved, she has successfully delivered the “The Joy of Realty” as a well known brand.
During her professional career, she became licensed & bonded, internationally registered loans and trade agent, and an investor. Harboring these skills, coupled with knowledge of financials and credit, she’s built her brand to support the realty process from financial preparation & loan qualification to purchase and sales of homes. Her vast background, passion for the industry, and going that extra mile to deliver has made her a powerhouse asset!
Joy is actively involved in the local community serving as an anchor for young girls and women, a motivational speaker, community activist and a board member of associations. She has been lauded by the State of Virginia for her financial, real estate, and credit knowledge earning her the state’s certification and backing to facilitate the state’s VHDA course.
Joy is a mother and enjoys spending time with family & friends, international travel, working out, entertaining, being active in the local schools’ PTA.
