Currently Julio Cesar works as a full time realtor mostly in the residential business in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Prior to joining Samson Properties in Northern Virginia where he works as a real estate consultant, Julio Cesar worked for Arlington Home Made Easier Ahome.inc, as a housing counselor helping homeowners to retain their properties and serving as intermediary in loan modifications to avoid clients losing their properties, and organizing workshops following the Virginia Housing Department Authority format. In addition to experience in housing practices, Mr. Idrobo also got involved with the community and Chaired the Housing Commission in Falls Church City for more than five years, advising the City Council on the use of federal housing funds, maintaining awareness of housing needs and opportunities, proposing housing policy initiatives and studying housing practices.
Additionally, Mr Idrobo served in the Latino Advisory board for 4 years advising the Governor of Virginia regarding the development of economic, professional, cultural, educational, and governmental links between the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Latino community in Virginia, and Latin America.
Currently Julio Cesar serves as a member of the Colombia Human Rights Committee in Washington DC, promoting the respect of human rights for people in Colombia.
