I’m Kate Snyder and I’m more than just a real estate agent — I’m a community builder, educator, volunteer, and advocate. Since 2004, I’ve been guiding buyers, sellers, and renters through every step of the real estate process with patience, clarity, and expertise. I take pride in breaking down the complexities of a transaction, making sure my clients feel confident and cared for from start to finish.

As a full-time Realtor® with Samson Properties, I’m backed by a powerful brokerage that services Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Florida. But my roots run deep in Waters Landing in Germantown, MD, where I’ve lived for 27 years with my six beloved rescue dogs — my “fur kids.”

Before real estate, I graduated from Towson State University with a degree in Elementary Education and began my career teaching 5th grade in Montgomery County. My love of teaching, coaching, and mentoring naturally transitioned into real estate, where I continue to educate and guide my clients every day.

My business thrives almost entirely by word of mouth — 98% of my clients come from referrals from past clients, coaching clients, and friends in the dog rescue community who have experienced my dedication firsthand. I’m proud to say I’ve never paid for a lead; instead, I’ve built my career on trust, relationships, and results.

Over the years, I’ve been honored with several awards, including induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors’ Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, the Excellence in Customer Service Award from HomeSnap, and multiple Gold and Platinum Awards from Samson Properties.

Beyond real estate, giving back is at the heart of who I am. I run a monthly dog adoption event for K9 Lifesavers in Germantown and volunteer with Wags for Hope, where my certified therapy dog, Raymond, makes a difference in many lives. Raymond Reddington is part of the R.E.A.D. program, which supports children who struggle with reading. In addition, he is certified to provide “happy visits” at local hospitals and senior homes, spreading joy and comfort wherever he goes.

I also serve my neighborhood as the founder and administrator of the Waters Landing Community Facebook page, and I coach softball at Sherwood High School.

Whether I’m helping families buy or sell their homes, supporting rescue dogs in finding their forever families, or coaching on the field, I live by one philosophy: give back to the communities that have given so much to me.
