Ken has been a native of Northern Virginia since before there was a Northern Virginia. Witnessing the area grow and become homogenized, with its accompanying traffic and congestion, he is convinced more than ever that his personal belief that “you have to love where you live” to survive today is critical. After receiving his BS in Business from Virginia Tech and completing his MBA studies at the University of Maryland, Ken has focused his career on fulfilling people’s needs in a variety of fields.
Selling medical equipment and helping to build hospitals, both domestically and overseas, Ken was able to leverage his organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure that projects were completed on time and, more importantly, to everyone’s satisfaction. After starting and running the 23rd largest home automation and low voltage integration company in the United States, among thousands, while working with both national and local home builders, he then became a Certified Notary Signing Agent for mortgage lenders and title companies.
Ken is now turning his experiences in these areas, as well as others, to help people who are in the process of making what will probably be the largest financial investment of their lives. His values are evident in all his dealings. As an ordained minister, he believes in the saying “Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no;” in other words, unyielding honesty, and integrity in all his dealings. You will also soon realize that Ken has an equally strong belief that a sense of humor is important to help us survive today. To help counterbalance his strong work ethic, Ken has an appreciation for the importance of leisure time. Whether it was using his private pilot’s license, camping and fishing in the Boundary Waters wilderness area of the Minnesota-Canadian border, or the hours he spent in his dark room, he always appreciated the simple wonders around us.
Working with Ken, you will soon realize that his successfully fulfilling your needs is his primary focus…. So, let me ask: Do you love your home, and does it still meet your needs?
