Ryan has been a licensed real estate agent for nearly a decade. Ryan has a finance degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and he graduated magna cum laude with a law degree from the Michigan State University. After law school Ryan relocated from the Midwest to begin his legal career with a prominent law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Ryan quickly excelled in his legal career which resulted in him becoming a partner in his law firm in 2005 and him being selected to the Richmond Magazine’s Top Virginia Lawyers Rising Stars in 2007 and 2008.
Even though Ryan began his career as an attorney he has always had a love for real estate. In his childhood days Ryan was always up for a game of Monopoly. In law school – “I loved my property law course. It fascinated me.” His love for real estate played a major factor when he encouraged his wife to become a real estate agent and led him to obtain his real estate agent license. “At first the plan was to continue my day-to-day law practice and for me to work real estate on the side to support my wife Nina with her real estate career.” It became apparent to Ryan that his true calling was to be a real estate agent. As a result, Ryan decided to transition from primarily practicing law to focusing on serving his buying and selling clients.
Ryan’s legal background serves his clients well when it comes to contracts, negotiations, and navigating the home buying and selling process. “My clients love that I have experience in both law and real estate.” Ryan and his Wife Nina Albadri Mattson work with buyers, sellers, and investors as Realtors with Samson Properties.
